Cheeky Motel and Asos Mini Haul

Hi guys, so todays blog post is gunna be a tineeeey weeeny haul. So basically it's my birthday in a few days and me and my girls are going to Newcastle for a long weekend!!!! So obviously I had to buy a few new bits for the weekend happenings. As Motel do 25% student discount, which is amazing. It's very rare I buy from Motel, but Topshop and Zara were failing me on the dress front so I decided to have a gander on Motel. Within being on there for less than five minutes I had found soooo much stuff!

One being the Hollyanna Shift Dress. I instantly fell in love with this dress, as I'm a bit of a monochrome lover, so this was perfect, and it's a little less boring because of the grid pattern on it! I'm 5'4 and I find that these dresses are the perfect length for me. One of my pet peeves is having to belt up a dress when it's too long, but these are perfect and I don't have to do that! I got mine in a small, but if you prefer your clothes a bit looser I would definitely recommend going up a size.

MOTEL - £35

The other dress I snapped up was the Hannah Shift Dress. I absolutely love this dress. I love the monochrome-ness and how it's a little bit edgy because the stripes are your traditionally stripes. Again this is the perfect length. I don't really have anything else to say about this dress, other than it's the perfect shift dress! I am going to style this up with some chunky heels, and an extra bright bag and nails to break up the monochrome and add a pop of colour!

MOTEL - £35

Next is the Kadie High Waist Skater Skirt. I was never really a fan of skater skirts until I saw my friend wear one and I was like 'omg I need one in my life'. So after seeing a few on American Apparel (which are ridiculously priced) I decided I really wanted one of the circular skater skirts. So when I popped on Motel and saw it was a bargain I decided to snap it up. I got mine in a small, small being the smallest size, and to be honest its a bit big, and I would have definitely gone for a x-small if they offered the size. However it's fine, it's not like it's going to fall down! I got mine in magenta, the camera isn't really picking up the colour, but it's beaut! The fabric is like a stiff cotton, which I really like as I don't think i'd like to have a jersey material as sometimes it sticks to your knickers and your forever pulling it off your arse, but with this skirt there is non of that!

MOTEL - £25

Oooooh so next is my absolute star buy, it is f****** amazing! Seriously it's so gorgeous. It's just this orangey, peachy jacquard playsuit, it's perfect at the top and fits amazingly. I got mine in a size 8 and it's true to size. When it arrived it looks a bit shimmery and metallic, which I wasn't expecting, but it doesn't look at all tacky. The neckline in my opinion is gorgeous, and it's so flattering. One thing I will comment on is, get a decent bra! You will definitely need a strapless bra as it's near enough backless, and it's a halter neck, and around the boob area it can show a bit of bra so a strapless one is essential! I will definitely be wearing this at the weekend!!!!

ASOS - £45

And the last few bits are just a bit of jewellery I picked up in the sale. First piece is this Cross Coin Charm Necklace, which is just so cute and will be super cute under a shirt. And the next piece is the Stone & Pearl Bangle in turquoise. I love a cute bit of dainty jewellery, so this was an absolute steal and I just had to have it. I love anything thats turquoise, or has a stone in it so this was perfect, and a bargain!

ASOS - £4.80 reduced from £8

ASOS - £3 reduced from £6

Be sure when you buy something to enter your student card number to get discounts!
And also if you sign up to Motel, you get £10 free credit to spend on anything your heart desires!

So which two outfits do you think I should wear?

Smoky Blue Eyes!

Hiii! So i've been neglecting my blog a little bit. About thirty minutes ago I watched Nic on Pixiwoo (youtube) video on a Selena Gomez makeup look, see video here. Anyways  I just felt so inspired so I decided to recreate the look using a few colours from the Frontcover Palette. I must say I'm not one to be shy of a bit of eyeshadow, but however I never ever put it under my eye or use kohl eyeliner on my bottom waterline, however I actually love it on this look! For an even blacker look tie a winged liner!

Products used:
FRONTCOVER PALETTE
Colours: frosted almond on the lid, nine iron on the crease, boyou + midnight on the outer corners and lower lash line and a bit of silver dollar on the inner corner.
- I also used a Models Own cream shadow for a base in the colour pink piper
- Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in the mouse form in the colour Caramel
- Benefit Hollywood Glow highlighter
- MUA mascara and eyeliner
- Sunkissed bronzer
